We like to be sure to be available to you for your kids and teens, and offer more access to care for your child and teen than any other clinic in the area! In addition to our regular hours Monday through Friday, we do our best to offer acute care on call 7 days a week until 10 PM. We would rather address issues for your child in their medical home where we already know them, than have you waiting for a non-pediatrician who doesn’t. It is always best to address issues during regular weekday hours when staff, pharmacies, X rays, referrals, etc. are most easily available. But we understand that kids’ issues often happen after hours.
To be certain we can be as available as possible, we offer multiple ways of communicating with our office in case of technical difficulty with any one of them. Besides coming down to the office, you can call us as usual at 541.386.2300. Please do leave a message if your call can’t be answered in person. Calling multiple times in a row is kind of like pressing the elevator button lots of times! If it’s after hours or the weekend and you need help that can’t wait until the morning or a weekday, be sure in following phone prompts to leave a message for the doctor on call, not in the general front desk inbox that won’t be checked until the next business day. Mailing or faxing may be an option for some. If phone and fax systems were to be down, you can contact us via our online portal –here– or as usual via e-mail (listed on our fridge magnet and business cards), via our website (the Contact Us button above), or by our Facebook page here.
Please do not call the hospital looking for us. Por favor, no llame al hospital en busca de nosotros.
We are not employees of the hospital and they will not know where to find us, but you will induce a panic at the hospital! Two special notes: please be sure to check with your phone service provider to be sure that you can receive calls from blocked numbers, or our return call to you may not come through.
